Mittens! There never seems to be enough dry mittens on a wintry day. Or worse, there always seems to be one mitten lost.
These fun convertible mittens are a quick knit and a great stash buster. The Pop Top allows little fingers to become free without removing the whole mitten. Hopefully that will keep the mittens from being dropped and lost. Instructions are included for sizes 2-10, but be sure to measure your child's hand before
beginning. The palm circumference is the most important measurement to consider. Beyond that, you can lengthen or shorten the mittens to fit those
special hands. We all know that kids don't come in standard sizes!
Instructions can be worked with double pointed needles or two circular
needles. Magic loop method is not recommended for this project. There is a section where you will be using 2 different size needles to complete the round.
