Big Brunswick

Big Brunswick is a season-spanning vest for men - the
perfect topper to scare away evening chills or cool
mornings, or a not-so-bulky addition to a winter wardrobe. The front and back are worked separately and joined at the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off.
The showcase Latvian Braids are worked flat on the front and back and in rounds for the Armhole and neck edgings. Complete written instructions and accompanying charts are included. Pattern includes tutorial links if you are not familiar with Latvian Braids.

Pattern has been tech edited. All measurements are listed in imperial and metric equivalents.

Gauge is critical for this design.

Skills Required: Basic sts and decreases, cables, m1, working with 2 colors, Latvian braid worked flat and in rounds, 3-needle bind off, ability to continue working in pattern while shaping.

Needles: Size US 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed for gauge. Do not hesitate to change needle size to obtain correct gauge.
