This unisex hat is a quick and easy knit! Find a self-striping bulky yarn and let the color changes add some interest. X marks the spot at the top of the head! There is a hidden inner ribbing that
provides a second layer of warmth around the ears - perfect for outdoors in the winter. You can choose to braid the tails or tie the tails macramé-style. The
prototype for this hat was knit for a ski bum at Crested Butte, Colorado -- hence the name!
