Oh my, I'm ba-a-a-ck! After what seems to have been eons, I am back to posting on my newly revamped web site. I don't promise that this will be a super regular thing, but I will try.
New platform, new host, new everything. I hope you'll take the time to look around and give me gentle feedback. I'll admit, there was a bit of a learning curve to this. But I worked hard and learned a lot. YouTube is my friend!
So, my biggest obligatory excuse for not blogging was a move halfway across the country, literally. But that was almost 2 years ago!
I was frustrated with my old blog because it was not able to support everything that I wanted to do. And I still want to do those things, but it's all a matter of time to get them built and work the kinks out. At least now the platform will not be my excuse.
So, what is currently on my needles?
This is Shleeves, a pattern by marymealittle on Ravelry. It's part shawl, part sweater and it will be perfect for an outdoor October wedding. The yarn is lace weight, Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Lace, and the color is delicious Dragon Fruit, and I added size 8 beads. This part is actually done now, and I am working on the sleeves - all stockinette and quite boring... but I will get it done.
If you are a visitor from my old blog, thank you for coming back. If you just happened by, welcome, and please come back.
For now, it's stitching time... ~~Joan
